The Story
We designed and animated this isometric animated video for Vermont Electric Power Company, also known as VELCO. VELCO owns and operates Vermont’s high-voltage electric transmission grid. Their vision is to create a sustainable Vermont through people, assets, relationships, and operating model.
The video highlights the Vermont Long-Range Transmission Plan which provides a snapshot of the state’s electric transmission needs over a 20-year horizon. The video was shared in a series of public input meetings to educate stakeholders and general public about the top takeaways of the Long-Range Plan as well as the strategies to synchronize energy demands with supply.
The production process involved script writing, style sheet, storyboard development and post production.
