The Story
Luco Games are online escape rooms hosted via Zoom, where participants can join in a group through a Zoom link, wherever they are. What sets Luco Games apart are their beautiful game illustrations, and the games are hosted by an actual person, known as the Game Master who narrates the game, explains the rules and guides the participants in the room that they’re “escaping”.
The client wanted to create an explainer video that tells viewers what is an online escape room and how the game works by featuring some of their beautiful game illustrations, combined with stock footage to include the human element. To complement the live action subject, the client wanted to incorporate scribble style animations over the footage without overshadowing what is going on in the video.
